Posted by Vice News on February 10, 2018 09:14:00 The black marble room in downtown Cleveland is now filled with a white marble counter, a black marble countertop, and a white, white, and black marble table.
It is the result of a partnership between Black Marble Restaurants and a Cleveland restaurant that is one of the first to offer the marble dining room in Cleveland.
The marble table was created by the Cleveland-based marble design studio, Gammaget, which specializes in marble design for luxury dining and home décor.
Black Marble is a collaboration between Gammage and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
It’s an initiative between Black marble and Cleveland’s Black marble community, which created the idea after they realized that some of their customers were dining on black marble.
“It just so happened that one of our clients came to us for a marble counter at their restaurant, and we just thought, ‘We have this marble counter in the restaurant, so we should offer this marble to our customers,'” said Matthew Schulte, president of Black Marble, the Cleveland Marble Kitchen and Bar and a member of the Cleveland Black Marble Kitchen.
Black marble, also known as black marble, was first introduced in the United States in 1896 by a white businessman named James K. Daugherty.
It was first offered to black families in the Black community in Cleveland after World War I. Today, there are around 25,000 black marble restaurants in the U.S. That’s the highest number of restaurants of any racial group in the country.
“We are proud to be one of only two cities in the world to offer this dining room to our black customers,” said Mark Williams, a Black Marble co-founder and owner of the restaurant.
“It’s an amazing way to give back to our community and to give the community the chance to see their loved ones and their neighbors, just like the other patrons, on a more personal level.”
Black Marble’s black marble dining rooms and dining rooms of the future will be designed with a black-themed design.
In 2020, the restaurant plans to have a marble dining table for every table, while the counter will be lined with black marble tiles and the table will be made of white marble.
