The movie stars Tippi, who has a daughter named Mandy, who is a dancer in the famed Marble Canyon Dance Company.
The movie also stars Michael Fassbender, Emma Stone, and Jennifer Lawrence.
Maggie’s mother, Mandy Hedren was the owner of the famed marble company in the area.
She was the daughter of Marjorie Hedren (who died in 1996).
She and her daughter were the first to make marble tile for the town of Marble Canyon.
In the movie Tippi (Mandy) plays Mandy’s dance teacher, Marjory (Amy Poehler).
Tippi plays the dance teacher.
In the movie she teaches dance and has a dance studio.
Mandy’s mother was the last woman to be allowed to be a dancer at Marble, but the town closed the doors in 1929 because of a plague.
The town was named after the former marble tilemaker.
The tile company, which has been in operation since 1929, has been featured on many television and radio shows, including “The Late Show With David Letterman,” “The Colbert Report,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
